Niamh Utsch, goldsmithThe immaculate form and style of Niamh Ní Mhathúna Utsch's vibrant jewellery are admired both in Ireland and overseas. The daughter of legendary Silversmith, Padraig Ó Mathúna, has been creating her own designs under the label at her workshop and gallery in Dingle, Co. Kerry since 1996.

The perfect beauty and individuality of her jewellery have won Niamh a loyal and devoted clientele who appreciate that, of every one of Niamh's pieces, there is only one in the world. "Repetition is the death of creativity," says Niamh, who believes jewellery is an extension of the natural beauty and character of the person who is wearing it. Located on Dingle's Green Street, the NU gallery has become a focal point for thousands of cultural visitors to Dingle every year.

Niamh Utsch's collection of hand crafted jewellery consists of rings, bracelets, necklaces, cufflinks, bangles, brooches, earrings, Stud earrings, and a beautiful collection of fine crafted objects made of the finest materials

Niamh Utsch, goldsmithNiamh Ni Mhathuna Utsch comes from Cashel, Co.Tipperary. Having grown up in the gold and silver smithing world, she commenced her goldsmithing apprenticeship after her leaving cert in 1981, she also went to the school of art in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. In 1984 she spent a year studying Jewelllery Design at the Fachhochschule fur Gestaltung in Schwabisch Gmund.

Subsequently she spent ten years working with Goldsmith masters in Germany learning new skills in Silver, Gold and Platinum. All her work is her own design and can be seen in her workshop and gallery in Dingle, Co Kerry
