OUR RIDES: We can accommodate everyone from a beginner in search of a fun and memorable introduction to horse riding, to advanced riders searching for exciting and challenging rides in open country.
One Hour Trek: This trek takes riders up into the hills overlooking the beautiful Dingle Peninsula. At the top, there is a chance for more experienced riders to quicken the pace with a canter along the ridge while less experienced riders can enjoy the scenery and take advantage of an unmissable photo opportunity. Daily at 11:00 & 2:30.
Two Hour Trek: This trek sets out from the Stables and heads down through town and out around the Harbour where you have a good chance of seeing Fungi, the Dingle dolphin. Departs daily at 11:00
Half Day Trek: This trek takes you to the most westerly landfall in Europe. Your destination is the beautiful beach in Muireach, nestled in a cove protected from the roaring Atlantic by the famous peaks of the Three Sisters. This is a three to four hour trek which departs at 10:00 each morning with a minimum of two riders.
Full Day Trek: This trek leaves the stables and follows the Harbour coast overlooking Lord Ventry's Estate. After lunch you set out to make your way up Mount Eagle. This is a five to six hour trek which departs at 10:00 each morning with a minimum of two riders.
Six Day Post-To-Post Trail Ride: For horse riding enthusiasts, we are pleased to offer a six day post-to-post trail ride that takes riders across the Dingle Peninsula. Ride for the full five and a half days or choose a couple of days along the way!

Coláiste Íde Stables offer a wide range of activities to riders with all levels of experience. We also offer a full riding programme to Colaiste Ide Boarding School. We cater for both Kids and Adults, and offer classes and treks to our host, Coláiste Íde School.
Riding Lessons - Colaiste Ide provides quality Horses and Ponies from the estates own stables. All riders are catered for, from the complete beginners to advanced riders. Lessons are available by the hour and half hour.
Trekking - Located as it is in the Grounds of an old Estate, Coláiste Íde Stables has some of the most beautiful and serene treks in the county. We cover hilly and forest paths, and walk along the shores of Dingle Harbour.
Pony Camps - We run Pony Camps for ages 6 and up, during Easter week and also during July and August. Camps are run on a weekly basis from Monday to Friday, between 2.00pm and 5.30pm. Again all levels of experience are catered for. Camps include Riding Lessons, Pony Trekking, Pony Games, Stable Management Classes / Competitions.
