The Mountain Man Outdoors Shop is to be found in Strand Street, Dingle, in the very heart of the West Kerry Gaeltacht (Irish speaking area). This special corner of Ireland, a peninsula of hazy mountains and hidden lakes is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise.

Our shop has all the necessary equipment to assist the walker or to provide you with helpful hints and information to make your holiday an adventure to remember. From time to time we have 'Slash Sales' on footware and clothing in order to make way for new stock. Brand names consist mainly of Meindl, Salomon, Sprayway, Columbia, Gelert and Patagonia which we find give greatest customer satisfaction.

The founder and of The Hidden Ireland Tours, Con Moriarty was born, raised and lives in one of the world's most beautiful places! Con Moriarty grew up in one of the world's most beautiful places and the riches of the natural and cultural history of his land inspired him since childhood. The Gap of Dunloe is a wild place, located in the heart of County Kerry in the South West of Ireland. It is a region rugged mountains and wild coastlines lake-valleys and ancient woodlands, islands and fertile plains.
The wild places of the Gap of Dunloe, McGillycuddy Reeks, Killarney Lake Valley and the rugged Atlantic coastlines along with the cultural wealth of county Kerry and the South West of Ireland have been a powerful force in his life since childhood and provided the inspiration for our company. Hidden Ireland Adventures is the hard edge of this company, operating as a dedicated adventure facilitator. We work in harmony with the nature and heritage of our place, to create spaces where a variety of activity and cultural adventures can occur.
