Gallarus Cottage is a self-catering accommodation located on Southwest Ireland's beautiful Dingle Peninsula, just a 10-minute drive from the town of An Daingean - Dingle. The old-style traditional cottage is situated near the Gallarus Oratory, Ireland's best-preserved and possibly most-perfect Early Christian church building, dating to about 800 A.D. Gallarus Cottage enjoys spectacular views of Ballydavid Harbour and is surrounded by roaming hills. Just a short stroll away is a safe, sandy beach, and there's a brook beside the house.

Many of the scenes from the movie "Ryan's Daughter" were filmed in the area. While staying at Gallarus Castle, you can relax and enjoy a pint of Guinness with the locals in the many pubs located close by. Here you will experience Irish culture at its best. Built in 2002, Gallarus Cottage is furnished to a high standard with wooden floors and antique furniture throughout. Our wardrobes are from Killarney's Great Southern Hotel! This exquisite Dingle Peninsula accommodation is set on its own 1-1/2 acre grounds right in the heart of the Dingle Peninsula's Gaeltaech area, one of six Irish-speaking areas in Ireland.
