Proprietors description
Hazelbrook self catering is a family run welcoming establishment ideally located on the edge of Dingle town. It holds the distinction of being the nearest farmhouse to Dingle town.
Hazelbrook self catering is attached to our Bed and Breakfast which has been open for 25 years and prides itself on providing hospitable comfortable accommodation and a friendly welcome. Our guests satisfaction and happiness is paramount at Hazelbrook.
Hazelbrook is also located on a farm, with animals including: sheep, dogs and horses. Demonstrations of the sheep being rounded up and herded are naturally always welcome. The myriad of positive glowing reviews that can be accessed on a variety of guidebooks speak for themselves. Our accommodation is located in a peaceful quiet area with the tranquil Milltown river flowing through the farm.
However Dingle town is minutes away where a host of fine gourmet restaurants and lively Traditional Irish pubs can be located.
Dingle is not only a nationally treasured travel destination but is also a world renowned tourist attraction. Dingle is famed for its breathtaking scenery and beautiful walks. Being located in a Gaeltacht area Dingle is considered a cultural stronghold. Irish music, food, and history can all be explored and indulged in,.
The Irish language, one of the oldest in Europe still thrives. Charming Traditional music sessions can be located in any of the many of the pubs at night. Being situated near the sea, stunning beaches are always close by. Dingle is an ideal location to attempt a variety of water sports: from surfing to diving.
Also the chance to experience Fungi the Dingle Dolphin cannot be missed and boats provide tours out to spot the famed dolphin. Swimming with fungi also is said to be an experience of incredible peace. Being a seaside fishing village, particularly fine seafood can be savoured.
It is the unspoilt charm and authenticity of Dingle which makes it a unique holiday destination. Dingle truly offers its visitors the bona fide Irish cultural experience.
